We are delighted that SCI-FUN has been awarded one of the Scottish Government's "Science Engagement Grants" for science communication activity in 2007/8. The grant is to be used to contribute to this year's delivery of SCI-FUN in support of science in schools at the early secondary levels.
This award is greatly appreciated both in helping to reduce the current financial deficit and as an encouraging expression of the Executive's interest in sustaining SCI-FUN while longer term arrangements for science outreach to secondary schools are being worked out.
