SCI-FUN: The Scottish Science and Technology Roadshow

A Brief History of the SCI-FUN Roadshow

SCI-FUN first started visiting schools in 1994, and then developed into something like our current form in 1999.

By the summer of 2012, we had successfully undertaken over 600 visits to 239 secondary schools in our more contemporary format. Currently, we undertake school and community visits with the support of University students from across the College of Science and Engineering.

Over the time of our existence, we have developed a lot of materials, and worked in collaboration with a host of organisations internal and external to the University of Edinburgh to develop new outreach projects, activities and events.
